The Companion Waiting for You
We are also concerned about the companion waiting for you, and will keep that individual informed about your progress. While you are in surgery, your companion can wait comfortably in the reception room, offering WiFi, TV and complementary coffee.
Once your procedure has been completed, the surgeon and nursing team will reach out to your companion with an update and approximate discharge time, giving them adequate time to return to the center if they choose to leave.
We ask that you only have up to one family member or support person accompany you to the Surgicenter and leave small children at home with a guardian.
